When searching for newspapers within a database it is helpful to use the filter features by clicking on advanced search to narrow down your search to just newspapers. Different databases have different ways of selecting for newspapers, but some of the most common methods are shown below:
The examples below show how you can narrow down search results to just include newspapers in several common library databases. To access these filters you will need to select the Advanced Search option, which is often located next to the main search bar.
