Throughout its publication life, there were around 74,495 maps included in the American State Papers (1789-1838) and the U.S. Congressional Serial Set (1817-1980). Donna Koepp, retired librarian from Harvard University, created a cartobibliography of all the maps in the U.S. Congressional Serial Set and helped develop a digitization project by Readex of the entire Serial Set. While working with Readex, Ms. Koepp gave a glimpse of some of the stories found in these maps.
