The WGSS program critically explores women's contributions and the role of gender in shaping our world, both in historical context and today's dynamic global landscape. WGSS is an interdisciplinary program which emphasizes critical thinking in addressing the intersectionality of sex, gender, class, race, sexuality, ethnicity, and culture and their impact on people's experience and the societies in which they live.
