The Gateway to Astronaut Photography of Earth hosts the most complete online collection of astronaut photographs of the Earth.  This database provides the locations, supporting data, and digital images of these photographs.  They process images coming down from the International Space Station daily, adding them to the 1,792,682 views of the Earth already made accessible on their website.  These images include 1,311,542 from the International Space Station.

You can Search for specific images, scroll through an extensive list of images, and you can even request new astronaut photography of Earth.

Additional options include The Weekly Top Ten, the ISS HD Earth Viewing Experiment (live video!), Crew Earth Observations Videos,  the Cities Collection, World Capital Cities, U.S. Capitol Cities, near-infrared (NIR) photography, Volcanoes, Screensavers, and much much much more!


The NASA Technical Reports Server looks a bit intimidating, but it is easier to use than it looks, and playing with it can provide you with some fascinating public domain copyright-free photographs and images.
