The CWU Veterans Book Club was launched in 2020 by the Veterans Center, CWU Libraries, and Professional Advising. CWU Student Veterans chose a title from a list of suggested books, focusing on books that provide veteran awareness. Once the title was chosen, registration opened up for anyone interested in joining the club. CWU students were provided a free copy of the book, funding by CWU Services and Activities funds.
The book chosen was You Are Worth It: Building a Life Worth Fighting For, by Kyle Carpenter and Don Yaeger. Book discussion were held during winter quarter, 2021, facilitated by CWU advisor and United States veteran, Judd Eichorst.
