• Summarize the chapter after you read it​

• Write down key points and information that is not on the slides

Identifying Key Points

• Does the instructor or text material repeat the information? ​

• Was it in both the reading and in the lecture?  ​

• Does it look different than the rest (bolded, italicized, highlighted)?
