The Counseling Clinic offers 2LGBTQ+ affirming services for identity exploration, coming out, working through traumatic impacts of oppression, discrimination or hate crimes, and support for students during hormone therapy or other gender affirming therapies or changes. Couples counseling is available when both parties are enrolled students.

The Student Medical Clinic encourages you to indicate your needs when making an appointment so you can be matched to the appropriate resource, and staff is available to assist with this process. Services include STI Testing, safe sex practices, PrEP, and trans care, which includes support and counseling for those transitioning in addition to hormone therapy.

Housing offers two gender inclusive living options, which means anyone can choose to live in a room or suite with anyone else regardless of gender. The Gender Inclusive Community, located in Moore Hall, is committed to respecting community members' motivations for choosing this living option, and supports inclusive and diverse initiatives within the community. All apartment living options on campus are gender inclusive.

Career Services provides workshops for clubs and organizations upon request specific to LGBTQ+ topic areas. Career counselors are available to discuss 2LGBTQ+ topics related to the workplace.
CWU Connection Card - Preferred Name Change
Once you have completed your preferred name change in the MyCWU portal you may request a new connection card with your preferred name at no cost to you. The Connection Card office has moved back to Bouillon 104, our original office. We closed our temporary SURC location permanently. Our hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. The Office of Civil Rights Compliance website contains information about policies and procedures for reporting sexual misconduct and discrimination to the university. The P.A.T.H. website contains information about confidential support resources for students who have experienced sexual misconduct
