After an information session, don't forget to record it in Brooks Stats.
After your session, it's a good idea to follow-up with the faculty member. This also gives you a chance to send them an evaluation link, and/or follow-up with information to any unanswered questions in class.
Here's a template email for an instruction session IN the library:
Hello [Person's name],
Thank you so much for bringing your [class name/#] to the library the other day. It was a pleasure to have them and I hope your students feel better prepared for [reason for visit]. As I mentioned in class, they are more than welcome to email me with further questions or set up an appointment for further assistance.
I'm always looking for ways to improve my sessions and would really appreciate your feedback in this 2 minute survey: [personal link]
Thanks again for bringing your class to the library, just let me know if you'd like other instruction sessions in the future.
Sincerely,
