ScholarWorks @ CWU

This guide introduces ScholarWorks, the institutional repository for Central Washington University, and explains its use by members of the university community.

Propose a Project

We welcome all proposals to add archival collections, journals, conference programs or proceedings, and other types of collections to ScholarWorks. Please contact us at scholarworks@cwu.edu.

Contribute to ScholarWorks

One of the goals of ScholarWorks @ CWU is to collect and make openly available the scholarly and creative output of faculty at the Central Washington University.

To contribute to ScholarWorks, please email your CV with publication information to scholarworks@cwu.edu. We can assisting in checking copyright requirements for your publications using the SHERPA/RoMEO database or by contacting your publisher(s). If the full text of your work can be posted open access to ScholarWorks, we will request your permission to do so.

Institutional repositories typically accept various versions of previously published texts. At ScholarWorks @ CWU, we prefer to archive the post-print or publisher's copy of your published work - the post-print being the draft of an article after peer review and the publisher's copy being the final published version of record. Please see this page for more information about drafts of articles that are typically archived in repositories.
